You need the still in the water to help condense it to form water. If you keep it out of the water the steam will never condense to water. And the waves shake the still and help the droplets move down.

Umm, you FORGOT to drink it on camera showing us that it’s sea water made drinkable. Very revealing that you made a “review” video and a claim and yet did nothing to show you trust the distilled and condensed water as drinkable. I figure you don’t trust it and was too afraid to test it. FAIL.

I would not recommend drinking this for long periods of time. There are more pollutants every year in the sea because of thirld world countries and china especially releasing radioactive water every day.

The on dry land equivalent is a clear plastic bag around a branch of a non toxic bush with a lot of green leaves. Tied tight at top and let hang down to collect water. Needs to be in direct sunlight to work effectively.

That thing produced very little water. It's better than nothing, but if you rely on that for all of your water, you will not have enough.

The wooden boat (viking style). In Sweden we call it a "snipa".

Когда я учился в мореходном колледже, то запомнил пропорцию - 1:43. Именно в такой пропорции нужно разбавлять воду, полученную дистилляцией с океанской солёной водой. чтобы получалась в итоге нужная, для питьевой воды, минерализация. Может, кому то пригодится.

Thinking about doing some dinghy camping after watching your really cool videos. I wonder if you have any advice on picking a dingy. Do you have any opinions on which dinghy has the best combination of storage capacity, speed, simplicity, comfortable and can be righted after capsizing. I've sailed a laser quite a lot and it has good performance and looks like you can store things inside the hull (but its relatively heavy). We have rs zests at our school but they are very sluggish. The RS Aero looks nice and light but seems to have limited storage capacity. I could buy a laser 2 but it seems relatively hard to rig, kinda heavy to land, and might be tippy for one person (like the topaz it might capsize easier in big gusts.

Very importante video Igor, with a litle of wind its more easy to flip up the boat. the boat will naturaly turn to the head of the wind. I have an Hobicat 18.

I tend to leave my navigational instruments turned on during the night, so that if the boat starts dragging, the depth sounder will turn on the alarm and wake me up when the boat is in less than 5 meters of water. This is more of a secondary precaution. The primary precaution should always be quality anchoring.

This should be in every liferaft instead of canned water
